Avocado & Brown Rice Recipe

Simple yet satisfying, this recipe contains an odd pairing of avocado with rice. I’ve learned avocado pretty much goes great with anything, so I’m never afraid to toss it into a shake, dessert, snack or entrée.

Ingredients:

2 c brown rice, 1 avocado, 2 cloves garlic, fresh rosemary, dried basil flakes, sea salt, pepper, olive oil

Serves: 2 people

Directions:

  • Cook the brown rice.
  • When the rice is about 2 minutes from being done, add in the spices and minced garlic.
  • Once the rice is finished cooking, drizzle some olive oil and mix in the diced avocado.
  • Serve, eat, enjoy!
