Tired of taking the same old green bean casserole to every potluck? Switch things up with this quick and easy, revamped, homemade concoction. Use fresh or frozen green beans, your choice! If you don’t have slivered almonds, chop whole ones up.
1 pound green beans, 1/2 yellow or white onion, 3 garlic cloves, 1/4 cup slivered almonds, olive oil, Bragg’s liquid amino acids, nutritional yeast flakes, salt, pepper
Serves: 1-3 persons
- Mince the onion and garlic.
- Steam the green beans, garlic and onions.
- Sautee the dish in a bit of olive oil with the almonds.
- Move to a serving dish. Drizzle ever so slightly with Bragg’s, add a dash of salt and pepper, then sprinkle on some yeast flakes.
- Serve, eat, enjoy!
