Guide to Calming Your Pet for Fireworks

Fourth of July is nigh!

Independence Day in the USA is a party day for humans but a day of terror for the animals. Whether you’re preparing for fireworks and parades this July 4th or just have a lot of noise around, there are some easy steps to take to help out your furry family member!

Muffling the sound, swaddling your pet, offering supplements and giving your animal some TLC are all important actions to take.

In fact, you can use the same tricks for calming your pet on July 4th as you can any day of the year. Summer thunderstorms, construction, traffic and city life can all cause your pet anxiety.

If you’ve ever come home to pillow feathers all around the house, your pet might be under stress from all the noise, noise, noise, noise.

For a more detailed how-to on keeping your pet calm over the upcoming holiday and other noisy occasions, check out my guide here.
